Jealous boss informs HR of a completely permissible after-work get-together that her employees attended, only because she wasn't invited herself: "[She] made a complaint that she was being ostracized’

Sometimes your micromanaging boss takes the little life you have left in the middle of the workweek, and you have no choice but to carry on after work with your favorite coworkers so you can decompress over some fried food and brews. If you have a close relationship with your coworkers—the kind where you can openly talk smack, for example—this is the perfect way to blow off some steam. Sour supervisors might frown upon it, but it's not on them to dictate what you do after the work day. It is on them if they're not invited. In this next story's case, the boss's employees clearly didn't invite her out for some fun for a reason.

To retaliate, the supervisor tries to complain to HR about the get-together, even though there are absolutely zero issues regarding fraternizing with coworkers after hours. One of the employees poses an important question to HR: Can they seriously find anything wrong with the situation at hand?
